#SneakPreview #NeedsRescue ASAP Hey friends & @followers Long Beach Animal Care Services has a female #CaneCorso named Sandy in need of rescue and our support to @highlight her need for help! Sandy arrived to the shelter on 11/21/25 after being struck by a vehicle in #LongBeach near Del Amo & Long Beach Blvd :O Although Sandy's condition initially appeared quite grim with trauma to her head & inability to walk, she mordaciously showed potential signs of a good recovery within a day! Sandy's luck also seemed to come up for the better when a registered microchip was found with an owner who was initially eager to get their beloved dog back. Sadly, after the shelter helped connect Sandy's owner with resources for follow up vet care due to their current financial hardships they neglected to show up when Sandy was ready for release and have since been non-responsive to any follow up calls/texts/emails from the shelter :( Sandy suffered a significant injury to her head along with minor trauma to her legs, she has shown good improvement but the shelter is still concerned for any underlying issues. Sandy needs to see a specialist or veterinarian with more resources to make sure Sandy has no other medical concerns which need to be tended to. Sandy has presented herself as a very mellow & receptive young girl that enjoys attention from people, she has regained enough mobility to participate in dog temperament test where she did very well.
