About Theodore 'Teddy'

Meet ��%BD��Theodore��%BD�� Affectionately known as Teddy, Teedy, TT Teddy is an 12 month old male Chocolate Lab (about 95 pounds). He is a *highly* energetic boy that is need of a loving home that can devote time for walks, throwing ball, belly rubs and playing outside in the water. Teddy is house trained and crate trained. He knows commands like sit, stay, lay down, easy, and paw. He loves to be rewarded with treats when he listens to those commands too! He also loves chew toys. All of them. Teddy is good with older children and other animals. He is not aggressive in any way, he's just so large (doesn't realize his size) and often knocks my 8 year old down. He's been very curious when he has met frogs and possums in the backyard. He has been around other labs and loves to play, even when the other labs don't (he has trouble reading the room). He is a rambunctious toddler, so he can get a little excited and will jump on others. We've been working on that, so he's getting better. Teddy's favorite sport is chewing (he is a lab, after all). He will chew and eat literally anything. He can't be left unattended for long periods of time or you'll be missing half of a couch, hence the crate training. Teddy has a lick granuloma on his left paw. We are currently treating and will give all the supplies and medication to treat. It's suspected it's from boredom as he has to be crated for much of the day due to our recent changes. Teddy's new home will acquire his flea/heartworm prevention (has 1 pill left), his food (and food container) for an easy transition, his crate, and his beloved water sprinkler. Please only inquire about Teddy if you have time to be with him. Due to recent changes in our home, we are unable to give Teddy as much time as he needs and deserves. We've tried all other avenues and we do not feel he's living his best life with us. He's a good boy and deserves to be able to run and play.
