(DOB: 07/11/2015) Curtis is heartworm positive, but please do not let this stop you from adopting him. He still has a heart of gold, and the rescue will treat those pesky heartworms. He is limited to adoption only within a 1 hour radius of Wake Forest, NC until after his treatment is completed. Curtis is the distinguished gentleman of the dog world - calm, classy, and full of quiet charm. This sweet senior is as laid-back as they come. He's a master of both crate and house training and is so polite you might forget he's even there'| until he gives you that soft, grateful look that melts your heart. Curtis doesn't make a peep and is perfectly content just being near his people, enjoying the simple comforts of a cozy home. Curtis gets along well with most other dogs - especially the ladies - and appreciates canine friends who share his gentle, easygoing vibe. And don't let his age fool you: when the moment feels right, he'll surprise you with a playful little pep in his step that's sure to make you smile. If you're looking for a peaceful companion with a golden heart and impeccable manners, Curtis is your guy. He's ready to enjoy life's slower moments with someone who appreciates the beauty of a quiet, loyal friend. As part of Curtis's $300 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
