About Randus

Hello everyone my name is Randus; I am a 7 and a half year old Chihuahua/ Pomeranian mix! Although I am mature in age I am still tons of fun and LOVE to snuggle with whomever will let me! I have been kept indoors for all of my life with only 1 owner, so I am house trained with the exception of going on puppy pads and newpapers, since I have been at the rescue I have began learning how to go outside and use the bathroom instead of in my kennel! I am still a little bit nervous meeting new people as I only had one dad who rescued me and we unfortunately had to part, so patience and gentle tones work best in getting me to open up to you but I am the sweetest boy once I feel safe around you, and quite silly too! I absolutely love to help with anything I can and I am a very routine oriented dog, I like my things in order! I am about 20 lbs but not going to get any bigger, (the ladies at the rescue say a diet wouldn't hurt but I don't agree). I prefer to follow you around or be carried, leash training hasn't been something I needed but the lovely ladies at the rescue have been practicing with me since I arrived! I am very particular about my food as I do have a sensitive stomach but this is my only current issue with my health and if managed properly isn't an issue at all! I am friendly with other dogs, I prefer them small because big dogs make me a little nervous but I am not an aggressive dog I just get a little scared sometimes! I also do well around children and cats, I am quite the friendly little guy and like to have a buddy with me! I love to snuggle into a chair and have a good snuggle while watching TV, playing on the computer, or reading a good book; I am a simple kind of guy! I don't mind being dressed up, as I DO NOT like the cold, plus don't I look so handsome in this sweater? I am a very happy little dog considering my age, I still have lots of life left in me and would love to get to come home and be your new best friend! I would absolutely LOVE to meet you and show you how sweet and loving I am before the cold snow comes into town! I hope you will consider coming to meet me and take me home for the holidays!
