About Mika

Meet Mika. Mika is of five bottle-fed kittens who were lovingly raised by a dedicated staff member. He is a darling boy with a distinct white stripe down his nose and a fluffy white chest. He seeks out human companionship. He loves to be held like a baby in your lap with his precious toe beans in the air while you rub his face. He cannot wait to meet you! Mika is the most energetic of the kittens, and loves to jump on them and play. He would probably do best with another active kitty in the house to play with (Maybe one of his siblings!) His siblings are Xavier, Onyx, Cinnamon, and Scruffy. These babies were all born around 9/2 and are almost ready for foster-to-adopt to a local family who can bring them in to us for routine vaccinations and spay/neuter before the adoption is final. If looking for an awesome kitten (or two, or three, which is always preferred), please submit an application for Mika online at: www.charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org. Once an application is submitted online, you will receive an email saying your application has been successfully submitted. If you don't receive this email within 24 hours, please check to make sure all application fields were completed or please call our shelter at 706-865-4135. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out-of-state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship, nor do we transport them to their new homes. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are either owner relinquished rescued from area Animal Controls or high kill shelters. The facility usually operates at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
