I have a 2 year old I am needing to rehome. I have had him since he was 12 weeks old and have never had an issue with him until recently. He has never had an accident in my home, always goes to the same spot in the yard to do his business, never been destructive in any way. I've worked with him on his training since we have had him and taken him to class. We have socialized him by taking him to places that allow dogs like Home Depot, restaurants and dog parks and he has always done great. He has a play group consisting of 5 dogs we walk with and have play dates with and he has always loved. He has been raised with a cat. We have always worked with him on his food so he wouldn't be food aggressive and we had never had a problem. He knows all his commands but whether he obeys them is another story. Sometimes he does well other times he just ignores us. He will recall on a leash but never off leash, so No off leash. My problem is the in the last month he has gotten dog aggressive and food aggressive. He has gone after 3 dogs and dragged my partner down in the process. He has also started going after my cats if there is treats or food involved so we have had to stop giving any treats to the cats or dog when they are in the are in the same room and the cats are fed with the gate shut to the room where their food bowls are. My partner still walks him but I will not. We don't walk with our friends and their dogs anymore because I don't know what he'll do. One of the dogs he went after was a dog he had met before. He is neutered, up to date on all his shots and microchipped. I would like to find him a home with a large fenced property for him to patrol.
