About Mochi

Zephyrhills, Florida. Mochi is a beautiful and healthy 10 month female Shepherd/Pomsky mix. Only 20 lbs, she is the perfect dog for someone who loves Shepherds or Huskys but for whatever reason, need a smaller size companion. While she may be small in stature, Mochi is large in personality and affection. Highly teachable, she knows sit, lay down, and shake. She is a puppy who loves to chew so hide your slippers and give her lots of chew toys. Mochi is leash trained and puppy pad trained. However, she will mostly go outside if you have a fenced in yard and she knows that is the preference. Because she was rescued from a pet hoarding situation and used puppy pads the first 7 months of life, she will often hold her pee on walks and wait until she returns home to go on a puppy pad or in her own yard. This is why I prefer to rehome her with a person with a fenced yard, some training knowledge, and patience. The reason I am rehoming Mochi is because I was looking for a beach and hiking adventure dog. Unfortunately, Mochi gets extremely car sick which also gives her car anxiety. I have tried Dramamine, Meclizine, and Cerenia. She will still vomit with Dramamine and Meclizine. She did not vomit with Cerenia, but still drooled about a quart of drool for a 30 minute ride. I don't like to sit at home and I feel guilty for leaving her alone. I want her to find a home with at least two of the following: A fenced yard, a friendly, playful dog companion, or a stay-at-home person. Mochi has never been crate trained and has always had access to furniture. I would like her to be rehomed where she retains these privileges. She is up to date on shots for DA2PP and rabies and heartworm preventative. She is not spayed and has not had first heat yet. Text me for more pictures and info.
