About Windy

She is an estimated 2-year-old Carolina Dog mix who weighs around 30-35 pounds. This sweet medium-sized girl was abandoned on the streets and left to fend for herself, but she has remained gentle, loving, and incredibly resilient. Windy is newer to our rescue, but we do know she is dog friendly and enjoys being around other dogs. She has a calm, kind spirit and is looking for someone who will give her the security she has been missing. For potential adopters, please note she will need a 6-foot fence, as she can easily get over a 4-foot one. She isn't trying to run away-she just has the athletic ability to do so. Windy is a sweet, gentle dog who deserves a home that will finally make her feel safe.
