Granite is a three year old husky who weighs 70 pounds. Granite is a true gem of a dog! This sweet, affectionate husky mix turns heads and melts hearts wherever he goes. Whether he's strolling along the beach or relaxing at home, Granite's calm, friendly presence shines through. This wonderful boy loves people, especially children, and thrives on being stroked, brushed, and doted on. He's got a lot of hair (husky-style) and enjoys his grooming time as much as his morning chats. Yes, Granite is a talker! Expect some charming husky 'woo-woos' when breakfast is near or new visitors arrive. He's expressive, not loud, just full of personality! Granite is fully housebroken and has comfortably slept both indoors and outside. He's a master of lounging but can show off some joyful high jumps and two-legged dances when it's walk time or dinner is served. He loves beach walks, is excellent on and off leash, and is respectful with other friendly dogs. He'll fetch a tennis ball a few times just to humor you then it's back to chilling like the cool, collected guy he is. While Granite can be a bit stubborn at first, he quickly responds to gentle leadership (especially when food or treats are involved). He's smart, loyal, and eager to bond with his new human / family.
