Grindel is a 1 year old female German Shepherd/Mix. She is a super smart, affectionate girl who's ready to find her forever family! She adores people, greets visitors warmly, and will happily flop over for belly rubs. With her big heart and loyal nature, she'll make a wonderful family pet in the right home. Because Grindel is still working on her manners, she'll do best with someone is dog-savvy and can set kind but clear boundaries. At her size and age, she's full of energy. With guidance she's eager to learn, and can channel that energy into fun and positive activities. Grindel really enjoys human companionship. She knows some commands including 'sit' and 'shake'. While she enjoys playing fetch, she's still learning the 'let go' part! Grindel is treat-motivated and ready to learn more. She rides well in the car, though she may bark at people passing by. Grindel is still working going for walks as she can be reactive, especially toward other dogs and strangers, and will benefit from patient training and consistent handling.
