I am looking for a forever home for Blue. I have honestly struggled with this decision for about six months but I know in my heart it's the right thing for him. When he was rescued it was always our intent to find him a forever home but I kinda fell in love with him. When we moved several months ago I thought he'd adapt but he has not. He needs room to run and sniff and explore. The irony is-we have acreage but it's not fenced and it's not safe to let him run free. Because he's not getting that energy out it's adversely affecting him and I'm seeing a backslide in the process we've made. He's a Walker Treeing Coonhound-around 2-3 years old. He's unaltered and heartworm positive-but is undergoing the slow kill method. He needs a fenced yard and no cats. He sleeps inside in a crate and MUST have access to be both inside and outside. Hes not a hunting dog-hes a pet that likes to explore and then curl up and take a nap. He's loyal and loving and looks at you with the sweetest eyes His tongue feels like velvet abd he loves to give kisses. He's afraid of thunder and likes to feel safe in his crate close to you during a storm. I love him and i will miss him but i know its the right thing for him and our other dog. I am absolutely willing to pay for the remainder of his heartworm treatments and to have him neutered. I will be very selective in his home placement because he's been thru enough. It's time for him to be in his forever home. Please let me know if you have a home for him or a lead on one. We've inquired with rescues all over the southeast with no luck so I am turning to the power of Facebook, my friends, and their friends for help. %90%BE%9D%A4%8F
