Meet Ophelia - our breathtaking, Maine-coon-type beauty who is finally ready for the life she's always deserved. Ophelia came to us as an owner surrender after her previous family irresponsibly allowed her to have multiple litters of kittens, which they couldn't properly care for. That experience was incredibly hard on her, both physically and emotionally, and we're sure some of her current sensitivities come from the awful circumstances she endured for far too long. But now that she's safe, loved, and cared for, she is truly blossoming into the gorgeous girl she was meant to be. Ophelia is deeply affectionate - but very much on her own terms. She adores attention, head rubs, and gentle affection, and she will absolutely seek it out when she wants it. But being picked up? Not her thing. She's a queen, and she likes to maintain her dignity, thank you very much. One thing Ophelia makes very clear: ---She wants to be the only cat in the home. After pregnancies and living with multiple other cats, she is beyond ready for a peaceful, quiet life where she doesn't have to share her space, her food, or her humans. She deserves to finally be the diva who is spoiled and adored - forever.
