LOS ANGELES ANIMAL SERVICES- SOUTH LOS ANGELES SHELTER- HEARTBREAKING, NEGLECTED CHOW OR CHOW X GIRL ONLY 5 YRS OLD!- LEONA' ID #A2242847 NEEDS LOVING AND RESPONSIBLE ADOPTER OR FOSTER ! RESCUE ASAP TO SAVE HER LIFE, BEFORE SHE IS EUTHANIZED FOR SPACE! Help! This LA City shelter is full, and this poor girl was found as a stray in horribly neglected condition, missing much of her fur, and brought to the shelter on 11/5. Leona has been estimated to be only 5 years old, though. and weighs 56 lbs, and was previously spayed. The shelter told us, 'She arrived with missing hair and the medical staff were only able to do a limited examination due to her fear/anxiety/stress. There are no additional updates to the medical record other than being treated for the skin condition and a URI. Once her URI is resolved, she may possibly be eligible for a playgroup outing.' We are now looking for a loving home or foster and rescue, or even anyone who can just go down and sit with her and hopefully provide us video and more info to help.
