Maggie is a sweet and funny, energetic girl who loves to play and run. I adopted her from the SPCA in Redlands CA a year and a half ago. She knows some commands and tricks. She loves squeaky toys and playing chase with people and toys. She has been being walked an hour a day by a professional walker because I got covid last year and haven't ever recovered my strength and stamina. We have a small yard so she can't run - she really needs to be able to run. She is such a doll, and loves everyone she meets - especially young adults and treens. She likes to play with other dogs. Except for squirrels, she isn't bothered or terribly interested in the many animals that live in the area and come into our yard (deer, possums, raccoons, cats). She has a couple of small dog buddies. She would really benefit from a large yard and a pack or dog sibling and an active family. I can't give her the exercise she needs and can't afford to pay for a walker anymore. I can't bear the thought of taking her to a shelter knowing there are so many other Huskies.
