About Petra

Petra is a sweet, silly, and loyal shepherd looking for her forever home. - Very affectionate and cuddly. Likes to do trust falls and plop backwards on you in bed - Gorgeous coat and sweet smile - Does pretty well meeting new people, for a shepherd that is! - Has done well meeting and playing with a similarly sized (slightly smaller than her) male dog. She is nervous and seems undersocialized with other dogs - she would likely do best with a confident playful male dog who can teach her 'how to dog!' Now, she seems super ready to play and will be a vocal player. - Potty trained and crate trained. Working on increasing her time uncrated without supervision - so far, doing great! - Has done well on a staycation with 7 and 11 year old children - Has done fine with 4ft fenced in backyard - No cats - Needs a patient and understanding adopter - breed or similar breed experience preferred! She is doing AMAZING in her foster home but has had some setbacks in new situations. She is a sensitive girl and if you break her trust you may not get it back.
