Matlock is a gorgeous male, two-year-old, 8.5 pound, green-eyed grey tabby looking for a loving guardian. This boy was found living in a feral colony on the grounds of Misericordia in Chicago's West Rogers Park. He's not feral, just a dude who found himself un-housed. He loves licking his catnip toys, and enjoys any kind of food, including treat sticks. He let me trim all his nails but is not crazy about being picked up. But, he lets me when necessary! He'll hiss, but he doesn't really mean it! He is a feline for the true cat-lover. He is very healthy, treated with Revolution, neutered, dewormed, up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccinations, virus-tested negative for FIV/Felv, and microchipped. He is ready for an indoor life, and a lot of love. He is well-behaved in the home, uses his litter box and is not a picky eater. To meet and possibly adopt Matlock, please fill out an adoption application https://friendsofpetraits.com/cat-adoption-application/ After the application is complete, please contact [email protected] to schedule an appointment to meet him. His adoption fee of $175 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. He is being fostered in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
