We have a sweet girl who needs a new home. She arrived at my dad's house as stray and when the neighbors called animal control, he stepped in to take her. However, since then, my mom has passed, and my dad's health is making it difficult to maintain a house/yard; he is planning to move into a retirement community. Unfortunately, Roxie isn't allowed. It breaks his heart, but he has to move for many reasons. We are looking for a loving home for her. She is a Boston/Pitt mix we believe but dna testing is pending. She is around 70lbs, has been spayed, vaccinated, and is very trainable. She has a lot of energy, but she's been eager to learn and please. She rides well and walks on a leash well once she gets use to it. We are working on crate training as well. She is comfortable with a yard with a fence or snuggling on the couch. We had her assessed by a trainer and he saw no signs of aggression, but noted she would do better with a home without small children as she is easily overstimulated. She also needs a fenced yard for lots of exercise. We are willing to deliver and provide financial support to ensure she has a great chance at success. Please reach out with any questions.
