This handsome gentleman is Windermere an approximately eight month old youngster who appears to be a Lilac Point Siamese/Domestic Mix. Windermere became a member of my rescue kitty crew on May 28, 2025, when I retrieved him from finder who had reached out on a local Facebook rescue site seeking assistance for him. According to his finder Windermere was huddled beside a trash can located in an alley way behind her residence. Age estimated to be between 6 to 8 weeks at the time of his rescue Windermere was small and slightly built for his suspected age. He quickly melded into my rescue kitty crew making fast friends with a four pack of siblings who were close in age and size. While Windermere enjoyed romping and stomping with the Richard Bland Four Pack, he did not have a similar energy and would tire faster than they did. Since being treated with an anti viral beginning on July 29th through October 20th his energy has greatly increased bringing him to Energizer Bunny level. Now a whirling, twirling dervish when engaging with the PawsPik double armed laser toy, Windermere circles and chases with ferocity as he pummels both the feather levers and the rotating red dot. His light cream coat and subtle gray points combined with pale gray/pink ears add to his striking appearance. But it is his pair blue eyes lure you in. They are absolutely mesmerizing drawing you into the depths of his soul, much like the pale blue of Lake Windermere for which he is named. A talker and a snuggler, Windermere will when allowed the opportunity tightly cuddle his body into mine, looking up at me with his soulful eyes while gently stretching out his front paws which he typically placed on my hand. His glance and touch are immediately soothing. There is something ethereal and mystical about this kitty man. A companion to my personal and rescue kitties as well as my rescue doggies, Windermere very much enjoys his menagerie of four legged friends engaging in play and cuddles. An all round wonderful guy. Windermere has been tested for both feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus and is negative for both. He is scheduled to be neutered on Tuesday, November 25th. He has been dewormed and treated for fleas. Windermere would be tickled to be adopted with one of his bestest kitty buddies, Perceval or Peake or to become new bestest friends with another younger kitty. If interested in becoming this dapper gents' human please feel free to reach out to me. I do when possible like to receive a vet reference for potential adopters.
