About Chance

Meet Chance! Chance is a 2-year-old Havanese mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He's boisterous, playful, loving, and endlessly curious about the world around him. He warms up to people easily and greets new friends with enthusiasm. He hasn't met young children yet, but given how friendly he is, he will probably do well with respectful, dog-savvy kids. Chance loves other dogs and happily approaches pups of all sizes for polite sniff sessions. Even when barked at, he stays calm. He has a high energy level and is still learning leash manners-he's strong, excited, and new to training-but he's smart and eager to figure things out with a patient human by his side. He's also a talented jumper! Inside the home, Chance is house-trained, sleeps quietly through the night, and finds comfort being close to his person. He can be a bit clingy for now, following his foster around to make sure he's not left behind, but as he builds confidence, he'll become more independent. He knows 'sit,' is working on 'stay,' and loves playtime, attention, and any sort of chew. Chance is ready for a loving home that can offer guidance, activity, and plenty of affection. With a little patience and a lot of love, this sweet boy will blossom into an amazing lifelong companion.
