About Holly

Dalmatian
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Holly was dropped off at a fire station with one of her puppies. My wife and I took both of them home to foster them so that they wouldn't have to go to a shelter. We found a home for the puppy and decided to keep Holly as our pet. We have had her for about 3 months. We also have a yellow lab that she gets along great with, however it did take about a week for her to warm up to him. We took her to the vet right away and treated her with flea/tick and heart worm. She is also currently up to date on all of her vaccinations, however not spayed. She did experience 1 heat while with us. We are deciding to re-home her due to the long shifts that my wife and I both work. We feel as if she has a fear of abandonment or separation anxiety which causes her to chew on things while we are gone. She has chewed multiple T.V. remotes, stolen food off of our counter, and cried while in her crate. We do feel as if she is trainable, however we just simply do not have the time. She is extremely sweet but a little shy around strangers. We hope to get her with a great family that has time to put into her. She would thrive in a house in which her owners are home more often and are able to exercise her more often. She knows how to sit, and she is also crate trained/doggy door trained. All things considered, she is very sweet, loving, and thrives on attention. We hope she finds a great home/family because she deserves it.
