911 URGENT: HARLEY NEEDS A HERO! This is one of the most heartbreaking pleas I've ever had to make. Why, why, why do people wait until the last minute to ask for help and think that the shelter is their way out? What about the dog�'�|you know the one that is loyal, would never give up on you, and is part of your family? Harley, a 1.5-year-old Basenji/Shepherd mix with the purest heart, is about to lose everything she knows. Her family is moving and cannot take her with them�'�|and we only have until SUNDAY, 11/30 to find her safe placement. After that�'�| they plan to take her to a kill shelter. I cannot let this sweet girl walk through the doors of a place she may never walk out of. She doesn't deserve this. She has SO much love left to give. Please�'�| we are BEGGING for an URGENT FOSTER or FOREVER HOME. Harley's life is on the line. Meet Harley- a young soul who still believes every person she meets is a new friend. 1.5 years old. Spayed. Fully vaccinated. Microchipped. Housebroken. She is currently living with a Golden Retriever and they get along beautifully�'�|Harley loves to play. She's been around children (age 9) and does wonderfully. She's friendly, bubbly, and has the sweetest energy. She just wants to be near you, whether that's running around the yard or curling up for cuddles. She's done well around cats she's briefly encountered�'�|curious, gentle, and respectful. Harley LOVES people. All people. Her tail never stops wagging. She walks well on leash, learns quickly, and just wants someone to love her as much as she loves them. She's perfect! This is life or death. Harley is a GREAT dog with a GREAT heart. Losing her home is not her fault, but she will pay the price if we don't act fast. We cannot let her be another innocent life lost.
