About Meg

Introducing Meg! We recently rescued this sweet Mini Aussie from a breeder who lost their home. She's a gentle girl who needs a patient, experienced family-ideally someone familiar with the breed and with caring for neglected or previously abused animals. Meg has been with us for just over a month, and we've been working with her daily. Because her history is unknown, we took her to the vet right away. She is now fully updated on vaccinations and was spayed on 11/22/2025. What we know about Meg: 18 lbs, purebred Mini Aussie Great with other dogs Very shy with people-she tolerates brief petting but is frightened of human touch Not yet house-trained Prefers to potty on cement and is hesitant about grass Learning crate training Does not yet know basic commands Her bark is soft/raspy, likely due to prior vocal cord alteration Meg is incredibly sweet and deserves a safe, patient, and loving home where she can continue to learn trust at her own pace.
