Weimaraner

There's a beautiful new girl in town! Meet 11 month old Skeeter. She is a petite little bundle of energy who has kind of had a beautiful, yet a sad life. This little angel lived with her mom her entire life being pampered and loved. She and her siblings all lived together as her human mom LOVED Weimaraners and actually bred them to show. Skeeter wanted for nothing the first few months of her life. Suddenly and very unexpectedly her mom got very sick. Skeeter and the others did not quite understand the sudden lack of walks and playtime. A couple months went by and her human mom passed away. It is a devastating time for family and friends.....they all want what is best and found wonderful homes for all of the dogs except Skeeter. She is very young with tons of energy and lacking now in some manners not having been consistent with training after mom got sick. She is full of life, loving and loves playing with other dogs. Initially she is very timid and shy having been a little sheltered during moms illness. During her first couple days in foster with us we've learned a lot from her. She is an avid counter surfer and will take advantage if you leave the room or turn your back. Obviously very food motivated but not food aggressive. She eats well around her new three foster sisters. The car is her haven....once you get her into it. She loves car rides and prefers the shotgun seat...or floorboard. She just wants to be with her person. No seats available up front? The she settles in very well being a backseat driver. Her favorite thing is cuddling up on the couch with whoever she has chosen as the one she trusts the most. Crating? Not so much. During the last couple months she slept with her mom on the bed, then her grandma took over after her mom was gone so she is VERY used to snuggling into a tight little ball right next to you. We are sure she would do well with crate training in time. She's a willing learner and super smart. Come meet her before she's gone. She is a brilliant diamond just waiting to be polished! Currently fostered in Riverside area of Inland Empire.
