Hi'| I'm Cherry Garcia, and I'm finally learning what it feels like to be loved. I'm only 2 years old, but I've already been through more than most dogs should. When the shelter found me wandering the streets, they said I was 'New Hope Only.' I didn't know what that meant'| but I know now - it meant rescue was my only chance to live. And PMAR chose me. They said I was worth saving. Now I'm in a warm foster home in Binghamton, learning that people can be kind. I love kids, cats, and other dogs'| honestly, I love anyone who makes me feel safe. I'm goofy, sweet, and I wag my whole booty when someone gives me attention. I had surgery to fix my cherry eye and still need a recheck, but the truth is'| what I really need is a family. Someone to call my own. Someone who won't give up on me again. Someone who sees my heart - not my past. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary. Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies. Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. Please note we do not adopt animals into Canada. Visit www.pmarinc.org for more information, and to fill out an application.
