About Kashi

Kashi is a 4-year-old Mastiff/Black Mouth Cur mix whose beautiful brindle-and-black coat matches her warm and gentle spirit. At 58 pounds, she's the perfect blend of strength and sweetness. Kashi came to the shelter with ten puppies and proved to be a devoted mom - protective and full of love. Now that her pups are off to their own new beginnings, it's time for Kashi to do the same. Kashi has lived with other dogs but is dog selective at the shelter. She is currently learning to walk more confidently using a gentle leader and is getting better every day, though her excitement when seeing other dogs can still get the better of her. What shines most about Kashi is her affectionate nature - she loves being close to people, soaking up attention, and showing how grateful she is for kindness. She adores playing with her toys and has a curious, joyful way about her that's impossible not to love. Be sure to date it next to the signature line (applications are reviewed in the order they are received) and put the name of the animal you are interested in at the top.
