About Mary Jo

Oh My Dog! This little girl is such a precious angel. She would love a forever home for the holidays. One-year old Mary Jo is a darling, affectionate lovebug. You'd never know she came from harrowing conditions because she's a natural family dog. A loving foster home enabled Mary Jo to thrive and get healthy! She is now fit, spayed, and up-to-date on shots! Being so young, she may gain a bit more weight, but right now she's 22 pounds. With excellent leash and shimmy skills, Mary Jo is a nice walking partner. Her cuddle capacity is bonkers. Mary Jo is still catching up on proper play skills. She lives with a beagle foster sibling, but can get rough and mouthy from a lack of socialization as a puppy. A patient resident dog would be best! Mary Jo is absolutely wonderful with people. She enjoys outings and does very well in public settings. Since she is still exploring with her teeth, so kids in the home should be 7 or older and have some experience (and patience!). Basic manners training would really help her be her best! Please note, though her breed is best guess, we like to say she's a Dacsha-huahua because she's really one in a million.
