Meet Sabrina, a gentle, sweet-natured 7-month-old, 53lb Great Pyrenees/Lab mix who is destined to be someone's perfect family companion. With her easy-going personality and soft, mellow charm, Sabrina fits beautifully into just about any household, especially one filled with kids, other dogs, or anyone who loves a cuddly, affectionate companion at their side. Sabrina adores playtime, whether she's chasing a ball, showing off her frisbee skills, or romping happily with dogs of all sizes. She's equally wonderful with children, and her foster describes her as incredibly tolerant, gentle, and patient. She even plays fetch with a three-year-old and happily accepts all the hugs that come with it. When the day begins, she greets the world with an adorable howl-yawn-stretch routine that never fails to make her foster smile. Still young, Sabrina is already off to an impressive start with training. She's learning leash manners, sit, and come, and has had zero accidents so far. She sleeps quietly through the night in her crate and is content to settle down with a toy or lean in for snuggles. Her playful, friendly nature makes her the kind of dog who gets along with everyone, including dogs, cats, kids, strangers, you name it! She doesn't seem to recognize the concept of a 'stranger,' only new friends she hasn't met yet. While Sabrina is amazing in almost every situation, car rides aren't her favorite just yet, she can get a bit nervous and drooly, so she'll appreciate a family that doesn't ask her to be a frequent traveler. Sabrina's dream home could be nearly anywhere, but she would especially shine in a family with children or with another friendly dog to play with. She's the type of pup who takes treats gently, stays quiet, loves deeply, and makes every day brighter with her sweetness.
