LOCATION: Manheim, PA DOB: 06/25/2019 Storm, a striking merle mantle Great Dane, has been waiting for a year and a half for his forever home. Saved from euthanasia at a local shelter, he has been thriving with his foster family, but now he's ready to find a permanent home with someone experienced in handling Danes. Storm's early life was unstructured, so he needs a calm, confident handler who understands his breed and can provide consistent guidance. He's a bit selective when it comes to his dog friends. While he gets along well with a large male Doodle, he has not taken kindly to two submissive females, so a home without other dogs-or with a carefully matched dog companion-would be best. Storm is not suited for homes with cats or children. Despite his selective nature with other dogs, Storm is a joyful and affectionate companion with people. He loves his daily zoomies, going for walks, and hopping in the car for any adventure. He is smart, extremely food-motivated, and quick to learn. He already knows sit, lie down, shake, stay, and back, and he thrives on positive reinforcement. Storm is house-trained, crate-trained, and a breeze to bathe and trim nails.
