About Shayla

Shayla is a 2- year old Dutch Shepherd weighing around 51 lbs. She is energetic, but not overly so and friendly. Shayla is a sweet dog that walks well on a leash and has been good with other dogs. She may want to chase a cat, but can be redirected away from them and may just want to play and be friendly. She likes to be near her handler and is good with all humans. She is not one to jump up on you and she is not a digger or a climber. She is up to date on vaccines,spayed and microchipped. She is being treated for heartworm at the rescue's expense and will fully recover. Please do not believe all the fear mongering done about heartworm positive dogs. We have had numerous dogs adopted out and have live long and very happy and fruitful lives with no adverse consequences. Email for application [email protected]
