Nugget is a sweet dog who loves belly rubs. He was my first dog, but due to a medical condition, it has become too much to care for him. He frequently needs to use the bathroom, going about every two hours. He also drinks water frequently; I usually give him water every time I take him out to pee, which is due to his medical condition. A vet informed us that he needs surgery due to liver shunt. After a $400 diagnostic scan, the vet can determine the cost of the surgery. Currently, Nugget follows a special diet because his body cannot break down protein. He eats dry and canned dog food, specifically the Hills Liver Care brand, which is sold at PetSmart. Sometimes, he enjoys raw peppers, cucumbers, and baked sweet potatoes. He can have treats, but they need to be low in protein. I'm hopping to find a loving family for Nugget. Please text only to number provided if interested.
