About Cupcake

Cupcake is about three years old, 55 pounds, vaccinated, spayed and heartworm negative. She is an extremely friendly and gentle girl. Cupcake is very friendly, affectionate, loves other dogs and is great with children. She is good in a car. She's good on a leash and she is noted to be housebroken by her previous owners. Cupcake's former human dad fell off a ladder and was paralyzed, leaving the family, unable to care for their pets. .They were forced to move in with the grandparents and so cupcake and her two sisters were surrendered to the county shelter. The shelter euthanizes every Tuesday at 4 PM. Her two first sisters were already adopted, and they left cupcake behind due to her size. Cupcake is not only gorgeous and well mannered, but she is a wonderful companion to everyone at the shelter. She is quiet and on the lower energy side, but can be playful when in playgroups in the yard. At this time, cupcake is quite saddened and confused as she looks for her family and wonders if they'll ever come and rescue her. Instead, we've stepped up, but we're asking the community for help to find her placement as most rescues are out of space which means we cannot take any others from death row. We have videos!!
