Bruce is 7 years old. He has had a difficult time adjusting to an active toddler in the home and exhibits anxiety in the form of pooping outside the litter box, scratching the toddler/adults, and refusing to eat. Despite home modifications (cat trees, perches, dietary changes, and medication), he still exhibits anxious behaviors. We also have a very busy schedule between work and school, leaving very little time to give him the full attention he needs. He is from a loving family who wants him to go to a new home where he can get more attention and be in a calmer environment. He will do best in a home without children. We adopted him as a kitten from the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina. He's an orange tabby and loves cardboard boxes, baskets, and paper bags. He enjoys couch and play time, but if he is overstimulated he has a tendency to bite and scratch people. He will do well as the only pet in a home with adults only.
