About Dobby

Dobby is a 7 year old #AmericanBulldog #Boxer mix that was picked up by Animal Control Officers evening of 11/06/25 along with another dog for temporary safe keeping after their owner suffered an accident in the home & had to be hospitalized. While the shelter originally mentioned plans were in place for both dogs to be picked up by relatives today to watch over them, unfortunately their owners condition rapidly became severe & plans changed... for Dobby in particular. Ultimately, Dobby & his other 4-legged friend's owner will be hospitalized for an extended period of time which prevented family members from taking both dogs and settled for taking back one & surrendering the other...Dobby (talk about short end of the stick) �٪%81 Dobby presents himself like a shy quiet gentle soul that doesn't want any trouble and prefers spending time in a quiet environment... basically the opposite of what you'll find at an overcrowded shelter. Dobby is now available for adoption or rescue and likely would get along just fine with any low-medium energy family as an addition or new pack member. HI!
