At just 1 year old and 34 pounds, this adorable little Heeler girl is everything you'd expect from a young cattle dog - bright, bouncy, and bursting with personality. When you reach down to pet her, Sage melts into a sweet little ball, smiling up at you with eyes full of love. But don't be fooled by that moment of calm - this girl is a spark plug in a fur coat, ready to romp, explore, and keep you laughing. Sage is dog-friendly and would absolutely thrive with another playful cattle dog buddy to show her the ropes and help her burn off that happy energy. We'd love to pull Sage from the shelter, but we can only do that with a committed foster.
