About Cedar

Cedar is a smart, affectionate, high energy pup. He loves following you around once he's comfortable and enjoys playing fetch. He knows the commands: sit, stay, go get it, get up, leave it alone. He does have a resource guarding issue where he doesn't like to be talked to or messed with while he's eating. As a younger pup we fed him timed raw meals only and have now switched to free feeding him kibble. It was then recommended to do so as the guarding may have stemmed from him being the runt of his litter. He's a great dog and wish we could provide him the lifestyle he deserves however, the shelter we got him from only knew the mom was lab unaware of the fathers breed so we excitedly took him in unaware of the more intense care the Belgian shepherd breed requires which has become apparent over the past year. We really pray and hope whoever is willing to give him the lifestyle he deserves is as active as he is as our schedules are not cohesive with what we feel he needs as a high energy breed.
