Meet Pico! Pico is a 1 year old chug (Chihuahua Pug) 15lbs. Currently in a foster home for BTRNC rescue group. Pico is an active, busy fellow. He enjoys long walks, playing fetch, and a good game of chase! He plays well with dogs of similar size and currently has a foster brother that he loves to wrestle and rough house with. He has meet a larger dog and was friendly but timid. Is his previous home the owner reported he did well with their cat. He needs plenty of lap time with his person and loves to be held. Pico is house broken, crate trained, knows sit, comes to his name, and is working and improving with lease manners every day. Pico can be timid at first when meeting new people or going to a new place, but give him a little space and time to sniff and a couple cookies and you're his new best friend! Pico sometimes barks at new people or things, and I have been working with him to stop this behavior. His adoptor will need to continue to work with him and actively socialize him. Pico has gotten to go many new places and experience new things with me but he did not have this in his past home. He is still young, and very smart so his capacity to learn and adapt to new environments is high. If you are looking for a little buddy with big spirit Pico is your guy! You can also review the adoption process at https://btrnc.org/ and submit an application. Please pay the $20 application donation fee to be considered.
