Looking for a loyal home guardian, protective adventure buddy, and cozy couch cuddler? Meet Macho! Macho is a strong, medium sized dog, who gives his whole heart. He is devoted and a protective companion who enjoys car rides, walks great on a leash, and snuggles with purpose. His impressive bark deters strangers and he is vigilant to guard the home from outsiders. He takes his guardian role seriously and will physically challenge unknown individuals on the property. He does best with a handler who understands and appreciates a cur's protective instincts and prefers a home with few visitors. Out on walks and at parks he is steady and non reactive to people and other dogs with a competent handler. While he has dominant energy, he makes a great, playful companion to another dog in the home when it is the right fit. This breed is high energy and prone to behavior problems without an outlet. He does great with two 20 minute walks a day and if you can find a space for him to run, all the better. He is a beast of beauty in full stride. Macho will make an excellent companion for a veteran or anyone who appreciates loyalty and protection and who is willing and able to invest time and energy into his care and training.
