we are rehoming our dog since we don't have enough time for him, he is 4 years old, very well trained, thousands of dollars and hours spent on training him. However, our current situation makes it impossible for us to give him a happy life. Following are the things you might want to know before you make a decision about adopting him. He is a Belgium shepherd which is different from a German shepherd. Belgium shepherd or malinois is generally much hyper. this is what we do with him on a daily basis: The minimum daily dog walk time will be 30 mins, plus 30 mins play time, 15 mins training time. This dog needs high maintenance. He was trained by our dog trainer to run with us while we are on an e-scooter or bike, so the least amount of time needed to walk him, if you are ok with an e scooter or bike will be 15 mins per time, twice a day. We don't know if he is good with kids, we just got our daughter and we keep them apart. He can be friendly with people when properly introduced. Otherwise, if strangers approach him without notice, he might launch at the stranger. By nature, he is a guard dog. He behaves really well inside the house, never an accident at home since he is 1 year old or so. Never go into places where he is not allowed. Disclosure: He does not get along with most male dogs or dogs that bark at him, the situation did not change after neutering him. He is neutered and fully vaccinated. We might need to send him to a shelter soon, please let us know if you are interested ASAP. Desired home for him: Single family house with a fenced backyard, no kids, experienced dog owner.
