We recently took in this litter due to the family breeding them and then trying to sell them at kids ball parks and breweries. When they were unsuccessful at making money off of them they came into the rescue to get vetting and responsible homes. Puppies will be given several sets of vaccines, dewormings, a microchip and spayed/neutered as part of their adoptions. They have not met any cats yet but are young enough to learn. They are still babies and are not potty trained. They are not leash trained. They are currently crated together with their siblings, it's very likely that there will be some sleepless nights in your home with crate training once they are separated. They have not had any trouble sharing food treats and toys. They have been on a few car rides so far and did not get sick. These puppies are currently active, happy, and playful. They have been raised inside and handled often since a very young age. They are shy at first but then very friendly and social after a few minutes. They are also smart and active. They love to explore and play. They are very cuddly when tired. They love toys and chew bones. Golden Retrievers make amazing family pets. They are generally friendly and social. They do often stay in the puppy phase for upwards of 3-4yrs. They can be very energetic and need lots of physical and mental exercise each day. Please make sure you are willing to provide an active household and outlet for their energy prior to adopting. If you deprive an active dog of the mental and physical exercise they need they will become destructive and difficult to deal with. Adopting a young puppy is a ton of work. They will have lots of potty accidents, chew things up etc. You will need to help them learn things like leash walking, crate training and basic manners. It can be a lot of work but the reward is a dog that fits well into your family's lifestyle if you invest proper time on training with them. Please carefully consider the time and effort a puppy requires before adopting. We do NOT adopt siblings into the same family. Before commenting on how sad etc, you feel that is please google 'littermate syndrome' so you can understand why we take this precaution. It is done in the best interest of the puppies. Vet and home checks required. Located in Hampton VA.
