About Jax

Say hello to Jax-- a loyal, loving boy ready for his next adventure and home Jax is a 4-year-old American Eskimo/German Shepherd/ Border Collie mix with a big heart and a loyal spirit. He is an active, intelligent dog who loves to run, play, and go for long walks. Sometimes shy at first, but once he bonds with you, he is deeply devoted. Jax does best in calmer, quieter, more consistent environments. He can be anxious with loud noises, car rides, or when left alone for long periods of time. He is also very protective of his home and owners, which means he tends to bark at visitors and the doorbell. He would thrive with an experienced dog owner who understands anxious, high-energy breeds and can give him plenty of exercise, patience, and reassurance. He is better suited for a person/family that does not have very young children or cats. Other dogs are okay though, as he does well playing and loves company. A fenced in yard with lots of space to run around is key to making him happy. As are lots of treats. Jax is healthy, up to date on his vet care, and comes with his favorite things to make his transition easier. He's a wonderful, loyal dog who just needs the right fit - a person or family who can give him the structure and space he needs to feel safe and confident. He deserves a home where he can truly relax and be his best self.
