About Maizey

**MIRACLE MAIZEY** Age 9weeks and counting. Phoenix AZ. Meet Maizey. We were contacted by a rescue in NM on the Navajo Nation Reservation who had just come across a less than 1 week old puppy. A group was clearing a cornfield to make a maze and found this precious baby. She was transported to us by a volunteer group from NM. There was no mama or other puppies anywhere to be found. She needed to be bottle fed round the clock. Fast forward a few weeks and she is eating regular puppy food and working on her potty training. *DOB-9/13/2025 (Est) *She loves going on outings and has the sassiest personality. *She is a bit shy at first with new people but warms up pretty quick. *She is gorgeous and sooooooo soft...her fur is thick and longer than a typical Cattle Dog. *Her DNA results just came back and she is an Australian Cattle Dog, supermutt (Collie & Boxer), Chow Chow, GSD & APBT. *Maizey-named for the corn maze she was found in-has working breed energy and herding instincts. *She needs a home that understands/has experience with working breed instincts and working dog energy. *She is a HIGH energy pup that chews but re-directs easily. *Maizey cannot be in a kennel all day and needs high energy output. *She will most likely be between 40-50lbs when fully grown. She is currently about 10lbs and growing..... *She loves playing with a Samoyed 100x her size. *She tries to herd our mini pig...to the mini pigs great dismay! *She loves my kids (Teens) and husband. *She is NOT potty trained but is working on it daily. *Maizey walks on a harness...pretty well...we are still getting the hang of it. Maizey will be fully vetted, UTD on age appropriate shots (1st round complete), altered and microchipped prior to adoption. She is not quite ready yet...but is taking applications for meets!
