Hello new friends, My name is Star! I'm an 8-year-old Yorkshire Terrier girl, and at just 3.6 lbs, I'm super tiny and packed with personality! Let me tell you my story! I'm a very loving little princess who sadly ended up at a local shelter. The nice ladies here rescued me and found out I am heart worm positive. Now I'm getting the treatment I need through a slow-kill method and I heard them say I am expected to make a full recovery. My foster mom is taking great care of me and I'm still full of life and love. So I am a girl who believes in fairy tales and that I should be treated like royalty (can you blame me?). I love to be carried around because the world looks so much better from up there! I'm high energy and constantly in motion-I'm really cute that way, always keeping things lively! I want to be with my humans non-stop because being your shadow is my favorite job. And belly rubs? Yes, please! I would love them all day long! I'm good with other dogs and love making furry friends! I'm okay on a leash but not great-I could definitely use some leash training to help me walk like the little lady I am. I'm also working on my house manners and potty training-I go on pee pads now and I'm learning more every day! One more thing about me�'�|I have a soft jaw and no teeth, so I need to eat very soft or soupy food (but hey, it's delicious!). Because I'm so petite and delicate, I need a home without kids for my safety. I'm not sure about cats yet!
