EDIT: Maxx is tentatively rehomed; this will be confirmed Sunday. Reposting: he was taken in by a home with another dog, and while Maxx did nothing wrong (per the foster parent), the existing dog in the home did not adapt well to a newcomer. This sweet boy belongs to a neighbor at the family home in Ohio (I primarily live in NYC, but have been in Ohio frequently the past few moms). She is a single mom, and she inherited him when her own mother died suddenly last December. She has to move, and the new landlord cannot allow pets in the home.
