I'm a six-year-old Shih Tzu mix with a big heart and an even bigger wish: a forever family of my very own. Almost a year ago, I was found running the streets of Ft. Lauderdale. A kind human rescued me, but because his building didn't allow pets, he brought me to a wonderful rescue. They placed me in foster care, where I learned how to be a happy house dog-living with another dog and a cat! Not long after, I was adopted by a loving mom who gave me all the affection and companionship a pup could dream of. But she recently became very sick, and now I'm back in foster care with a wonderful family and their five dogs. It's nice here, but I know it's only temporary'| and I'm ready for my forever home. A little about me: I walk beautifully on and off leash I'm super obedient and listen to commands I get along great with dogs, cats, kids, and even birds I'm gentle, sweet, and love affection My only quirk? I bark when I'm left alone. I've had so many people come and go in my life that I get a little anxious and worry they won't come back. I just need someone patient who can show me I'm finally safe and home for good. Please share my story and help me find the family I've been waiting for. I promise I'll give you all the love in the world. So, could I be your Teddy Baer? A home check is required prior to adoption. We kindly ask that only those open to a home visit inquire.
