About Jetta

Jetta is a beautiful pure black German Shepherd born on July 4, 2024 - a true little firecracker in both spirit and heart. She's incredibly intelligent, affectionate with her people, and has a playful, athletic side that shines when she's running or chasing a frisbee. When she's excited to see you, she'll pin her ears back and wiggle with happiness, and when she's relaxing, she loves curling up in the corner of a couch with her head resting on the armrest. Jetta thrives with structure and loves having a job to do. She would do best in a home with a fenced yard or property where an e-collar system is used responsibly. Her ideal family would be experienced with German Shepherds and understand the training, leadership, and consistency this intelligent breed needs. Because Jetta can be territorial and has shown aggression toward other pets in the home, she must be placed as the only animal in the household. In the right environment - one where she can feel secure, loved, and understood - she will be a deeply devoted and rewarding companion. We love Jetta very much, but after many efforts to help her and our 3-year-old Golden Retriever coexist, it's become clear that rehoming her is the safest and most compassionate choice for both dogs. Our hope is to find her a home that can give her the focused attention and calm environment she deserves.
