Jasper is a 3 year old feist terrier and weight around 25 lbs. He is energetic, loves to play, loves walks and car rides, but also loves to snuggle on the couch and watch TV. He is up to date on vaccines, and is on flea/tick and heart worm prevention. He is housebroken, used to his crate, and walks well on a leash/harness. Jasper can sometimes have anxiety when meeting new people and seems to be more intimidated by men in certain situations. He has a tendency to become territorial/protective of his space and his humans and has shown some mild aggression (barking, growling, snapping) in situations where he perceives a threat, but he has never bitten or caused serious injury. Jasper does not get along with cats but gets along well with most dogs. Jasper has a mild case of Cerebellar Hypoplasia, which causes him to have slight tremors and motor issues. He doesn't let this stop him from running, playing, and jumping up on furniture but he can be clumsy and will fall frequently. His condition does not cause him any serious health concerns and does not require any special vet care or medications. I am currently 7 months pregnant and will not be able to continue caring for Jasper in the ways that he needs and deserves after my baby is born. I have been having a lot of trouble finding him a new home and the only other option is to take him to a shelter, which I really do not want to do.
