About Teton

Teton is a yellow lab mix. He is 15 months old. He was brought to a shelter in TX when he was only two days old. He grew up in the Shelter system his whole life until he was put in a training academy to help shelter dogs get adopted. There he learned- Sit, Down, Place, Come, Paw, Spin, Turn, Turget, Touch, Tug, off leash Heel outside, Automatic sits for heel, Door Manners, Crate, 6 different Home Manners, Puppy push ups, heel dance, Play Dead, Hide, Hold, 'Night night' Send to place at 30 feet. Sit duration 3 minutes Down duration 7 minutes Place duration 11 minutes E-Collar Training. Off leash recall from 30 feet. Including a Finished Recall Clusters (they do this while touching 2 other dogs) with sitting or in a down or on place with time durations & Scent work. He is also potty trained. He is beyond sweet. Loves toys. Loves treats. He loves to snuggle and at night he will sleep through the entire night snuggling with me. He also snuggles with you in a way where both of you are very comfortable. In the morning he never wants to get out of bed. He always wakes up with this grumpy little face, which is adorable. He actually has a lot of different facial expressions that makes your heart melt. He loves taking naps with me. He really enjoys playing with his other foster friends. He is always very appropriate with playtime. Teton when he's done playing he likes to go and lay down. Same thing with training. He does a great job, but he has his limits and then he likes to just sun bathe. He can be a little shy at first, but after a little bit of time he really warms up to you. Teton feeling safe with you is so rewarding. He gets so excited when he sees you and when he's heeling, he just walks the whole time looking up at you and smiles. He is a very sweet quirky boy and I'm hoping he goes to a home that really loves on him. He had a really hard beginning and he deserves so much.
