��s� EMERGENCY PLEA FOR CHURRO ��s� We need a foster this week and ultimately a forever home willing to love him the way he deserves. Some dogs carry stories on their small shoulders that no puppy ever should. Churro is one of them. Churro was surrendered to us after his owner suffered a sudden aneurysm. In the chaos of that emergency, Churro was left alone in the home with his unresponsive owner-confused, frightened, and waiting for help. His owner did not recover as quickly as everyone hoped, and because Churro was only a baby, he did what scared, sensitive dogs do: he retreated inward. When he came to us, you could feel the relief in his tiny body�'�| but you could still see the fear in his eyes. With time, patience, and a loving foster, Churro slowly began to blossom. Within a week, he was showing his sweetness, seeking comfort, and learning that the world wasn't always so unpredictable. In September, we believed we found the right adopter-a patient person who promised to give him the time and space he needed. But now�'�| After only two months, she says he's 'too shy.' She says she 'resents him.' And she wants to return him immediately. Let us be absolutely clear: CHURRO IS NOT AGGRESSIVE. Not at all. He is simply shy, gentle, and still working through the trauma of everything he's already survived in his short life. ���� WHAT CHURRO NEEDS The ideal home for Churro is one with: �'ۢ A backyard where he can come and go freely while he continues to gain confidence. �'ۢ Someone willing to start leash training gently, at his pace, without pressure. �'ۢ A calm, patient presence who understands that shy dogs bloom slowly but beautifully. Churro is a six-month-old Whoodle (Wheaten Terrier �� Poodle) - hypoallergenic, neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and absolutely deserving of someone who won't turn their back on him.
