Today, he's healthy, strong, and ready for an active home that matches his drive and spirit. Steve is a high-energy, extremely athletic husky who loves to run, hike, and mush. He can go for miles without slowing down and thrives with someone who enjoys outdoor adventures. He's incredibly loyal and bonds deeply to his person. Because Steve is so people-focused, he does best as the only dog, or with a very mellow, non-dominant female who won't challenge him. He's not aggressive - he just prefers to be the center of attention and doesn't like competing for affection.
