About Max

Max is approximately 5 years old and belongs to my brother-in-law, Chris, who has debilitating health and financial difficulties, and is unable to properly care for Max. Chris has multiple sclerosis. My husband and I are beginning the process of bringing Chris to stay with us in Jacksonville, FL. We already have 3 dogs and unfortunately cannot take on Max (my husband is dealing with some medical issues himself). Max was adopted as a puppy from an ex-roommate whose dog had a litter. Max is a sweetheart. He is shy and may be nervous around new people and new dogs, but has never shown aggression. He has lived with another large dog and other humans (both male and female) in the past. He is housetrained and has never been crated. He weighs 81 lbs and is negative on heartworm, and is on Nexgard Plus. Max is currently located in North Mississippi and can be transported to North FL.
